Death Cab for Cutie – The Sound of Settling | 7” Vinyl Single

For those of us who like our indie cheerful on the surface and having a quiet existential crisis underneath.

The Sound of Settling pairs an outrageously catchy “ba-ba” chorus with the sort of overthinking that Death Cab do so well. Taken from Transatlanticism, it’s a compact little reminder of why this band ended up meaning quite so much to people.

This Fierce Panda 7-inch comes backed with their take on The Smiths’ This Charming Man. A particularly fitting pairing: two bands with a talent for making awkwardness sound good, and a B-side worth turning the record over for.

Black vinyl in the photographic picture sleeve, with a white paper inner. The photos show the actual copy on offer, including the sleeve edges and record surface. Playback hasn’t been confirmed, so this is offered without a play-tested grading.
